It’s been a busy time so far. We are having a really fun time. We started with Kannon’s graduation. Lunch with Decker and Brantley. Then Deckers awards ceremony. Running kids back and forth to help Kayla and Brantley’s Ball practice That was just Thursday!!!

It was 39 years ago today that we said ”I Do” and vowed to be there for richer or poorer lol I think we have prooved the latter all too well. In sickness and health and of all days Richard is testing that. 🤢 for better or worse we’ve been through so much it seems like just yesterday and yet always. People said we would never last but yet here we are 39 years married and 43 years together. Can you believe I was just 15 when we met if you are doing the math we were friends for 4 years before I finally figured out we were much more. Through all those years we’ve been through a lot! Some of our greatest accomplishments other than being there for each other has been raising our 2 wonderful daughters which in turn gave us 2 son n laws and 5 delightful grandchildren. There’s never been a doubt in all these years that we were meant for each other. Here are a few pics over the years.

Oven Baked Chicken Nuggets
Serves: 4

1 1/2 cup corn flakes
3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. mayo

1. Preheat oven to 425F. Place Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim on metal baking sheet and set aside.
2. In Smooth Chopper add corn flakes, parmesan cheese, replace cover and pull cord to chop and combine. Set aside.
3. Place chicken in Season-Serve and use Poultry Shears to cut into bite size pieces. Season with salt and toss. Add mayo, seal and shake to coat.
4. Dip each coated chicken piece in corn flake mixture and place on baking sheet in a single layer.
5. Bake for 20 minutes or until internal cooking temp reaches 165F. Serve with favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Watermelon Daiquiri
Serves: 1

2 cups watermelon chunks, frozen
1 oz lime juice
1 oz orange juice
2 tbsp simple syrup
2 oz light rum, optional

Add all ingredients to base of Super Sonic Chopperfitted with blade attachment. Replace cover and pull cord until well combined. Top with whipped cream, cherry and enjoy!
