I love my heritage red wattle sows, I have to keep repeating that to myself when they take an opportunity to show their stuff.

Green arrow is pen where sow is supposed to be (2 acres with shelter and pond). Red arrow is approximate area we found her (against all odds and only because she nested close to a water source.)

Once I get over my anger at here )*) #@*$*@ # stubbornness, I will take her some feed - if I can find her again.

We've been working on cleaning up some the 30+yr accumulation and dug out this old hay ring. Took about half an hour to turn it into a nice little outdoor spa for our house piglets.

Had to move stock around because of the freeze and the big girls didn't really get how the creep feeder was supposed to ...
