A Note About Someone Special
I’d like to take a moment to share the story of Sadie Lovino — a longtime family friend and one of the most giving people I know.
Sadie has been a true blessing in our lives. As a massage therapist, yoga teacher, and Reiki practitioner, she has healed, recharged, and uplifted so many people — including me, my husband, and my mother-in-law. She is, without question, a beacon of strength, kindness, and light.
Now, this remarkable woman is facing her greatest challenge: cancer.
A disease that doesn’t discriminate — not by race, religion, or anything else — has interrupted the life of someone who has spent hers caring for others. As a strong, independent woman, not being able to work is its own heartbreak on top of everything else she’s enduring.
In true Sadie fashion, she hasn’t stopped creating. She’s been making beautiful handmade cards, and she’s asking for donations in exchange for them. I’ve shared some photos so you can see her work for yourself.
