Here is a water pressure regulator. What is used for is the make sure the water pressure going into your RV is set at a pressure that will not exceed the maximum pressure that the plumbing can handle. Most RV plumbing systems can handle 80 psi for a short period of time. You do not know what water pressure is coming out of the park’s water supply. That is why you need a water pressure regulator. Most are set to 40 psi and this is a good pressure to maintain. It will not put undo pressure on the plumbing system while allowing good water pressure in your RV.

If you have an RV that does not have a propane detector or a smoke and carbon dioxide detector, you should really, really consider having them installed. If your RV does have these devices, make you test them at least twice a year. Bacon works good for the smoke detector 😹. You should also check the dates to make sure they are not older the 5 years. Another suggestion is to get a few more smoke detectors and place them in other areas like your enclosed sleeping areas.

How big does a hole have to be to cause excessive damage to an RV?
Water damage can occur through a hole the size of a pin prick. It is slow but steady and if not taken care of can cost thousands.
It only takes about an hour to inspect and reseal a roof. Your RV roof should be cleaned and sealed at least once a year. You should also check the roof periodically for debris that can damage your roof.
