🌼👑🙌💖 The Yellow Queen or Golden Columbine 💛 my favorite local flower inspired this craft, a flower magnet made with materials. I'm so excited to include this easy arts and crafts kit in the next Local Loot Box 😍🙌

The maker kit includes all the materials you'll need, plus instructions and more info about this lovely flower found in Arizona!

It's an easy craft, even for non crafty people, see pictures for reference 😊 You can just peel and stick the petals to the adhesive side of the magnet!

I'll be making more of these kits during my upcoming Maker Monday Night craft sessions. And sometimes I even stream it on DLive so we can hang out and chat! 😄

First day of UofA FORGE Seed Accelerator Women's Founder Cohort! Local Food Box applied and was accepted! I Loved meeting my entrepreneurial peers virtually! Getting into nature with this guy has kept me sane during this crazy busy year at home. So thankful for this human right here and the privilege to enjoy the San Pedro River while its still around! The trailhead at Fairbank is one of my favorite hikes and the history there is fun to learn about too!

(Just fyi: the San Pedro River is one of the last natural riparian habitats in southern Arizona already threatened by urbanization and climate change made even worse by trump's wall. They drill for water as they build the wall draining local aquifers. The wall itself blocks the flow of the river and migration of animals 😭😭😭 I hope we can still reverse the damage done by humans!)

🌼These yellow columbine flowers grow on Mt Lemmon. I love how they smell and how they look! The two petal shapes stacked in a column are delightful! And the center is almost whimsical. I'll be capturing their beauty in my upcycle project during my Maker monday livestreams tonight and next week 😊 💖

Wish I could bake everyone some hot fresh cookies, healthy food, comfort food, whatever you need right now. My heart is breaking, but I can see that we are changing for the better. It's darkest before the dawn. We are in this together ❤ I love you all 💖
