Hello Everyone..
Couple of updates this week.
Pre-orders:
1) We now have up on our Pre-Order list the "N" 2-8-2 Light and Heavy Mikado's, hoping for lst quarter 2022 delivery, don't miss out on this opportunity 2nd run will not be for at least a year.
2) Broadway Limited has added 5 "fantasy" paint schemes to the list of roadnames on their new "N" Scale P5a, which we still hope to see before New Year's They are all "logical" since the road names they are doing all had electric locomotives. The release info was not quite clear if these new 5 Road names will be arriving with the Pennsy variations already announced or in a later shipment. But we are now accepting Pre-Orders for them now to guarantee getting one when they finally do arrive. Take a Peak at the artist renderings by clicking on the Pre-Order button to the left on the Menu Selection.
3) Bachmann has given us a sneak peek at the final sample of the paint job on their next release of the N de M HO SD40-2, and it really looks great, these are also due for the first quarter of 2020. The version coming is the standard "DC" only, but it comes with an 8 pin NMRA socket set so you can buy any brand of DCC decoder you prefer and add it to the model. (You can see the model itself on the Bachmann web site.)
Labelle just released a FREE PDF Brochure on "How to" Clean your track +Tips on Lubricating your locomotives (And what NOT TO DO) I know 98% of you are experienced at using Labelle Lubricants on your Locomotives etc, but we are doing a lot of internet advertising this Fall to get new modelers to join "The World's Greatest Hobby" and so we are just offering this shortened version of our online Video (Also available for free on YouTube) to folks who have little experience with the hobby
If you belong to a club, or having a model train event you are welcome to down load this small brochure and give to people who ask questions on maintaining their model trains
Another easy idea to promote the World's Greatest Hobby is to drop off a copy of any extra Train Magazines you have at your Local Barber Shop, for waiting customers to browse.. pass the world to your fellow club members or suggest this idea on your favorite social network
