Those who know me know that reading has been a love of mine since I was a child. I'd read anything from every age appropriate book I could find to cereal boxes! Recently I realized that the big book store near me didn't carry nearly as many books wirtten by and about Black people as I would expect from a store that size. Standing in that store an old dream was reborn, and I decided to open a book store that would carry books starring Black characters, written by Black authors. A space with community events, food, and a Black centered atmosphere. Please support me on this journey by liking and sharing the page, interacting with posts, and making online purchases when the store is ready! Thanks again,
