First, thank you for visiting my page! Now for those of you wondering how I came up with my business name “Italiasman.” The “I” in Italiasman represents my Italian heritage. The word talisman refers to an object, even a human being can be considered a talisman— something producing apparently magical or miraculous effects; an object held to act as a charm to avert evil and bring good fortune. So, I

took the “I” from Italian and combined it with talisman, hence the name Italiasman. Now where do I come up with my designs? Well, I’ve always had some sort of creative streak. When I was younger, I use to write a lot of poetry, then I moved on to general arts & crafts. It was when I really started discovering who I was and what I am, that I focused that into the healing stone jewelry I make today. I am an empath and a sensitive. So, I use all the emotions and energy I pick up on along with guidance from images I receive to create my jewelry to the best of my abilities. I am also a perfectionist so sometimes; I will rework a piece multiple times before I am satisfied. The hard part is when I put my designs out there for the world to see. I make one-of-a-kind designs; I never make duplicates. Besides, when you make them by hand you can never get the exact same thing, there will always be some difference. I do not follow seasons nor trends; I create my jewelry based on what comes to mind when I see or feel something. At this time, I have chosen not to make jewelry for children, the stones I use can be delegate and they pose a choking hazard. After a much-needed break over the last couple of weeks, Italiasman is excited to be back — and starting this Saturday, I’ll be at the Tomball Art & Makers Market every Saturday in January!
