Unboxed my new Smith Mini Little Torch with drilled synthetic ruby tips today! I'm soo thrilled!!

Isn't it a BEAUTY? This is such an important piece of equipment for all jewelers to have. A wonderful torch excellent for soldering of all types and sizes.

It's a small, small world! How true that is when you're making jewelry. Detail is king and a fickle master...lol!

Here are a few pictures of a custom carved class ring that was recently finished. I originally purchased a beautiful 14mm * 12mm Sapphire (lab grown) stone for this ring that proved to be too large. Attended the Drouhard National Jeweler School in Mansfield, OH for Diamond Setting, Repair and Casting last month. I gained a ton of knowledge and experience from these three courses. I had a lot of fun, enjoyed the scenery and met some very nice peoole. They came from all over the country, Buffalo New York, Texas even Wyoming and Utah. I'm looking forward to exercising my new skills and delving into new and exciting projects.
