Have ya all been waiting on this one to be dropped? Well it’s getting dropped tomorrow. But there’s a twist. It will not be on the coast. I’m leaving to go inland for a week. I’ll be doing a few inland drops before coming back to the coast. Stay tuned for the drop video. Good luck 🍀

The Oregon Coast is about to get a little more colorful as the annual Glass Floats Finders Keepers program continues in Lincoln City.

From June 1 through June 12, 2026, 130 special Marie Lamfrom commemorative green glass floats will be hidden along the beaches. Each float features a unique sticker, float number, and glass stamp. Participants who register their float will help activate charitable donations benefiting Oregon nonprofits.

Later in the month, on June 19 and 20, 2026, 31 special glass floats will be hidden to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Chinook Winds Casino Resort. These limited edition floats are expected to be among the most sought after finds of the season.

The community are reminding participants that the floats are hidden for everyone to enjoy. Following several incidents and an arrest related to disputes over floats last month, beachgoers are encouraged to be respectful, share the shoreline, and remember that the event is meant to be a fun community tradition for all ages.

Did you all see the video of the Orcas on Oregon Coast Explored page from Tradewinds Charters today? Once a month I get passes from them for a party of two and hide them. The spring migration is slowing down for the upcoming months, so if you like fishing charters, they do offer 2 to 5 hr trips. I’ll end up getting those if you’re interested. You will still need to buy a day pass for fishing if you do not have a fishing license.
