An Important Update from Timeless Hide Co.
Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a personal update regarding the recent quiet period and the future of our leatherworking shop.

A Temporary Setback
As many of you know, my primary focus recently has been caring for Mary and managing her health challenges. This has required me to step back significantly from my workbench and business operations. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Please know that I have absolutely NOT quit leatherworking! My passion for creating durable, beautiful pieces remains as strong as ever, and I look forward to ramping up production soon.

A New Chapter & New Name
In a surprising turn of events, I recently discovered that someone else is using my company name in the marketplace. To protect the integrity of my work, my brand identity, and the craftsmanship you know and trust, I have decided to officially adjust the name of the business.

Moving forward, our pages and official business name will be Bacon's Timeless Hide Co.

I am excited to introduce this new name, and I’ll be updating our website and social media profiles over the coming weeks.

For those who love our signature pieces, please note that I will be keeping our physical branding exactly as it is. All of your leather goods, stamps, and engravings will continue to feature the trusted Timeless Hide Co. name and logo.

🔨 Behind the Scenes: Gluing the Lining to My Moccasins 🔨

Crafting my moccasins is a journey filled with passion and precision, and the gluing stage is where the magic truly begins! Here’s a sneak peek into my process:

1️⃣ Preparing the Panel
Every great creation starts with perfection! I meticulously cut each moccasin panel, ensuring every detail is just right as I lay the groundwork for beautiful footwear.

2️⃣ Applying the Glue
Time to get my hands a little sticky! I carefully apply Barge glue to the edges of the lining, covering every inch to achieve a rock-solid bond. This step is crucial for ensuring everything stays perfectly in place!

3️⃣ Pressing the Lining
With the glue in place, I align the lining with absolute precision and press it down firmly. This is where the craftsmanship shines, and I make sure it fits snugly and perfectly!

4️⃣ Setting the Glue
Patience is key! After everything is pressed into place, I let the glued panel sit for a full 24 hours. This waiting period is essential for creating a strong, lasting bond that will stand the test of time.

This process may seem straightforward, but it’s all in the details! Each step requires focus and care, resulting in moccasins that are not only stunning but also durable and long-lasting.
