Hey hey Funky Owl Fam!! So, if you have been following my story you know I have had to pivot quite a bit in the past year and a half. I’ve been angry, full of grief, disappointed - all the things because just to put it simply, things have not gone my way. Well some good news is I now have a booth (actually 2!) in the Wood County Antique Mall in Winnsboro. There are 70 vendors in there so something for everyone! As much stuff that has been thrown my way I am determined to not give up - after all I have 3 girls to raise. So the next time you are in Winnsboro, stop by and check out all the fun stuff. Booths 55 and 56 and stick around on the page and invite your friends, I have some things in store for here 😉

Well…not the news I wanted to wake up to this morning BUT it wasn’t my home or car so I’m thankful for that. Unfortunately our June location took on some damage so I no longer have a place in town. I am not giving up but the blows just keep coming and it’s very disappointing.

Everything from the shop needs to be out by 5 pm Wednesday. After this I will not be available to open it. The shop will be open from 5:30 - 6:30 tonight. We will be there sometime tomorrow afternoon to finish moving my last 2 big items.

I have tried many times to make this post but it’s beyond time. As of May 31, The Funky Owl Vendor Market will no longer exist at the current location. I do have a new location for June in which I will be doing some boutique closeout sales. I am so sad this particular venture is coming to an end but I need to do what’s best for my myself and my kids. Losing Cory was never in my plans and I tried to push forward without him and the distraction was great for a while but ultimately grief just took its toll on me.

Vendors - if you have not already got your stuff, please make it a point to do so soon. Some of you have already set up times. I know for sure Monday evening, I will be there from 5:30 - 6:30. And I will let you know other times that it will be open as well this weekend/week.

As for The Funky Owl - this is still a dream I want to pursue but it will go back to an online platform for now so I can have more flexibility with my kids schedules.

I want to thank everyone for their support during this crazy short lived journey. It wasn’t perfect on my part but I’m hoping the break will bring me back better than ever.

Here’s to hoping 2024 brings you many blessings!

I know I have been MIA lately and I apologize for that but I took some much needed time for myself and family. I wanted to take a moment to tell you about some changes taking place this year.

The shop will only be open on Saturdays 10-4 for the first few months. This is a time where you can do package pick up and shop our vendors in store.

I will be doing a weekly live in the VIP group showcasing around 5ish products each week. The group will get to see and shop first!

I will be doing less custom requests and more RTS items.

2023 was not the best year for me personally. I lost my husband early in the year and that has been a hard loss to deal with. Opening the shop was a great distraction but as the year it went on, it became a lot to manage on my own - which is why I took a step back and creating new boundaries for this coming year. I hope you all understand and thank you all for your support!! I look forward to bringing you all some really neat things and things this year!
