We now have added custom engraved wood signs and lasering options to items. It all began as a hobby to take old antiques and junk and make them new again for my own home decorating. I can take about anything that is old and broken and make it new again. I can take custom orders too!

Today was my teacher’s aide, Miss Nicole, (of the past 2 years) last day of high school. My 3rd graders and I threw her a surprise graduation party. She was also a student in my first 3rd grade class at Prairie. She plans to become an elementary teacher. Steve and I designed and created this special sign that we gave to her.

We were honored to make these signs and keychains for the Prairie School Class of 2026 Baccalaureate. This was my 1st class of 3rd graders I taught when we moved back. This is also my daughter’s class. They are a special group of individuals and I’m excited to see what they accomplish in their future. 👨‍🎓 👩‍🎓

If you missed shopping with us last weekend, we are offering 30% off all items in this post and in these pictures. Sending a BIG thank you to everyone who came out to this year’s spring Primitive Junk Market. What a fun weekend of seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Thanks to my sister, Stephanie Warboys, for helping me on Friday night when it was so busy. Thanks to my other sister, Shauna Meyring, for coming with friends to shop. We celebrated a few weekend birthdays after the show was over last night with cake pops around the table. Thanks to my parents, Paul N Ann Mertens, for always hanging out for the weekend to help! Thanks to everyone who supported Tinley’s lemonade stand and stopped by the community building to eat a meal to support Tatum Bailey! (I didn’t get a picture of Tatum.) We love finding and creating the treasures you all love! We enjoy this weekend every year! 🥰
