I am a mother of two, LOVE the outdoors and enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. Sophia Alexander came about when I realized my home was missing a sense of calm. Having stopped using candles years ago because of the toxic unknowns, I wanted to create something safe to use with my children and pets. Little did I know, creating candles for my own use would ignite a passion for candles and open a door to opening up my very own small business! Woman owned and operated. It's that weird week between Christmas and New Years when I'm not quite sure what day of the week it is or what we're supposed to be doing.. We've really been soaking up all the holiday things with family and food and presents and Christmas lights and I'm not ready to leave all that behind yet! I might try to start a on January 1st to get back into the groove! What do you think?!

Establishing a home base in the richly historic Richmond, Virginia, the love for the hunt of vintage treasures became an important part of the creative process.
