Two carvings finished up. The first is of a series of lakes I've been fishing for 20 years. This one has the land toppgraphy as well as the water depth carved out. The water was filled back in with epoxy. This one was pretty technically challenging but i think i figured out what needs to happen.

The second is a board for a customer. They had a cutting board and wanted me to put a lake in it. This is the deepest lake carving I've done and the final board size is 12x18. I definitely want to do more of these.

This is the first time I've cut in Lake Guntersville in Alabama. The lakes down south are just way different than we're used to up here in the North. They are massive reservoirs and river systems whereas we got kind of bowls sometimes with deep spots.

Optimization matters. This is all the scrap leftover from cutting 21 sheets down to size for my map blanks. I could have gotten a little less scrap if i changed my cut order and gotten 2 more 8x12 blanks but i don't sell many of those so i had enough on hand.
