Hello everyone, I'm Krys and you may have met me at my sales or as a client. I realize it's been a very long time since I have introduced myself... actually, I'm not really sure if I officially have introduced myself on here. I decided to pop-up because Heritage's 10 year anniversary is coming up at the very beginning of 2025. (Yes, I did plan it that way to make it easier to remember! ๐)
The industry has evolved so much, and I am growing with itโlearning something new with each sale, whether it's about history, human nature, or even myself. Speaking of evolving, with the advent of online sales, I hope you'll join me on this next leg of Heritage's journey as we make changes to how we host our estates.
One reason I have chosen to do this is because of the changes that have been happening with the platforms we typically advertise on. These platforms have decided to start charging the customers extra fees to shop and I have decided to cut out the middleman so shopping second hand can stay as affordable as possible. There will be some growing pains, but I want this industry to thrive, as well as the small businesses in it, and you the conscientious customer are a huge part of that.
Reflecting on the years, it's hard to believe Iโve been in sales for 24 years now, with 22 of those years dedicated to the estate sale industry. When I first started, I never imagined Iโd be here decades later, still doing this. Itโs weird to think about the countless homes Iโve worked in, the stories - and other things - Iโve uncovered, and the people Iโve helped along the way. Looking back on these past 10 years running my company, I feel both grateful and shocked at how fast time has flown by. I thank you for your support along the way and hope you continue to shop with Heritage!
