Kat here. Many of you know that I’m a long time outdoor gardener turned Houseplant Hoarder since Garden District STL came into being in 2019. I have two 6’ square raised beds that I grow veggies in using “square foot gardening” methods in planting. I love this because we have a narrow South City backyard along with three hound dogs. This gives us a nice crop of fresh veggies and the dogs plenty of space to chase squirrels! lol Enjoy the pics ☺️ Oh! And I used Seed Saver Exchange seeds that we sell in store. 😉

Tehehee! *throws rainbows and glitter at you* 🌈✨Pride season kicks off tomorrow down at ! From 11am-4pm there will be vendors, retail activities, and more! “I’m Grace, the owner and maker behind Urban Candle Company. I was born and raised in St. Louis, spent several years living in New York, and recently returned home to take over Urban Candle from my aunt, carrying on her legacy. I create small-batch candles inspired by nostalgia, everyday rituals, and moments that deserve to be remembered. Each candle is hand-poured using 100% soy wax and thoughtfully blended, phthalate-free fragrance oils, with a deep love for storytelling, scent, and community at the center of everything we make.”

Favorite Smell? - This is a toss up between freshly-cleaned sheets or my morning coffee.

Least favorite smell? - A McDonald’s Play Place :/
