Happy World Book Day, readers!

Don't you just love getting lost in a good story? Well today is the perfect excuse to celebrate all things books! You can start a new adventure, revisit an old favorite, or even add another your TBR.

And speaking of celebrating… Independent Bookstore Day is this Saturday!
If you can, take some time to visit your favorite local bookstore and show them some love. Indie bookstores are such a huge part of what makes communities special.

Now, I wish The Epic Shelf could be out there with you this Saturday, but don’t worry, we’ve got something exciting coming very soon…

A Quick Update from The Epic Shelf

Hi friends,

I wanted to share a quick update about The Epic Shelf and what things will look like moving forward.

For the time being, The Epic Shelf will be operating at a reduced capacity. I’ll still be doing my best to pop up at local events when possible, but many vendor events have recently become more restrictive about non-homemade goods being offered at their events. Unfortunately, that makes it a bit harder for a curated bookshop like mine to participate as often as I’d love to.

That said, this isn’t a goodbye to seeing The Epic Shelf out in the community. I’ve been actively reaching out to local businesses about partnering for pop-up opportunities, and I’m really hopeful about creating new spaces where you can browse books in person. So stay tuned… I’m excited about what’s ahead. ✨

In the meantime, the online shop will remain open, so you can still discover your next favorite adventure anytime. You're also welcome to check out our partner page at Bookshop.org/shop/theepicshelf, where purchases through The Epic Shelf's page help support the business.

This community has already shown me how many people here truly love books, and it’s only made me more certain of my long term dream: to one day create a permanent, welcoming book space right here. A place to explore stories, connect, and get lost in a little bit of magic.
