There’s a little something growing in the field…

And while it may not quite be fall yet, we’re already thinking about crisp mornings, changing leaves, and all things pumpkin. 🍂

Starting in September and continuing through October, our Pumpkin Fried Pie will be our Flavor of the Month! We’re bringing back this seasonal favorite to welcome fall the only way we know how… with a fresh, hot fried pie!

But until then, today’s fresh pie drop is ready for you!

Everyone….meet Kylie! She holds the role of niece/cousin and has been with the family business since 2022!

She is our steady force, dough maker and the one who always has a story to share!

This business is still here because of her. When dad got sick in 2024 she single-handedly ran the business while we were in and out of the hospital!

If you’ve been to a show you’ve interacted with Kylie at some point. She loves this business and loves all of you, our customers, even more!

There’s just something magical about that moment when our pies come out of the fryer, hot and golden, and go straight into our glaze to be coated in sweet goodness.

This is when our Tennessee fried pies really come to life. You can see their shape, how plump they are with filling, the beautiful texture of the crust, and that irresistible shimmer from the glaze.

From there, they head to the cooling racks to rest before we wrap them up and get them ready for delivery.

Now the big question… what flavor do you think is inside? 👀

Who remembers Home Economics in grade school? 🙋‍♀️

While they may not teach those skills in school anymore, when you’re homeschooled, you get to learn them right alongside Auntie & Mamie in the Pie Cottage!

Today’s lesson included basic kitchen safety, learning how to follow a recipe, and even a little math by counting how many tablespoons are needed for all those different fillings. Because yes, math really does show up everywhere! 😂

We love getting to turn everyday life into learning, and these are the kinds of skills they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Today, we’re taking a moment away from talking about fried pies to honor and celebrate the life of our favorite human, our husband and father, Terry.

It’s been two years since Heaven called you home, and we swear time is a thief. Two years somehow feels like yesterday and forever all at once.

We talk about you every single day. The kids mention you whenever a red cardinal is nearby, and we know without a doubt you’d be so proud of how far we’ve come.

We miss you more than words can say, Dad. We love you still, and we always will.

🍑 Peach may be our fried pie flavor of the month, but have you tried our Pecan Fried Pie?

A true Southern classic, and one we take a whole lot of pride in making right here in Tennessee. Ooey, gooey, and packed with that rich pecan goodness, one bite might just make you shut your pie hole!

And yes, I realize I have absolutely no idea what to do with my facial expressions while filming these reels. 😂 Just over here swirling pecan filling and trying to look natural.
