This is the last leg of flipping my booth. The market is closed Thur and Friday for our vendors to flip and create. Then we’ll reopen on Sat for our open house. Today I will be bringing winter and holiday magic to the long shelf in my booth.

Guess what? It all fit. Visit my new space at Keen Eye Antiques

flower box makes a great catchall. Painted floral boxes were a Victorian favorite, brightening windowsills and tables long before store bought planters. Fill them with blooms, tools, or treasures. Now in my booth at Rusty Bucket Antique Emporium.

This vintage crumb butler makes for a cute display. It once had a brush that swept tablecloths clean between courses. Crumb butlers were a Victorian and Edwardian dining essential, often silver plated, because a proper table was never left crumby. A charming piece of table manners history. Now in my booth at The Rusty Bucket Antique Emporium

This vignette is all dressed in silver with a silverplate teapot on its pierced trivet, a tall embossed trumpet vase, and a little wire cage flower frog for good measure. Silverplate gave Victorian households the look of sterling without the price tag, and trumpet vases were made for showing off a single perfect stem. A gleaming group for a shelf or table. Now in my booth at Freakin' Antiquin' Vintage Market.
