Mothers Day weekend was a time for me to reflect on what I want to bring to Halo Halo Studio. So here is what I’ve come up with 💚. I have a new site and mission.

Tomorrow I will launch a small collection of statement earrings to kick off the new site. As always, I want to give to an important cause. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental Health holds a deep place in my heart and well being.

I have decided to run with Team Mental Health America of Greater Houston for the 2023 Aramco Half Marathon. A % of proceeds from this launch will go to MHA.

Check out my new site and the launch of 13 colorful statement earrings will go live at 7am.

One month ago, this momma decided to finally open an Etsy shop Halo Halo Studio. The pandemic has me exploring different artistic mediums. Last fall I picked up polymer clay earrings/jewelry. The creative in me wants to learn as much as I can. From there I began learning about wire work and creating my own earring hooks, jump rings and even creating simple earrings with wire for that clean and minimal look. All my studs and hooks are hypoallergenic (I have an ear sensitivity-so in starting this journey I needed to make sure I could wear what I create) I use stainless steel, gold plated, silver plated, sterling silver, gold fill, and titanium. Besides jewelry, I honed in on my crocheting skills, worked on my watercoloring, drawing, calligraphy and recently began making my own recycled handmade paper (which I used for the earring images 🥰). The next item I have on my list of curiosities is metalsmithing-get ready Mike Leong 😆😉. Halo Halo studio will not only feature earrings/jewelry; in the future I will be adding other handmade goods that I’ve been working on and/or wanting to create. Creativity is definitely my middle ground and I enjoy it so much. Anyhow!! My goal is to hopefully keep IG and FB updated.
Oh and patience too lol! Learning this Etsy stuff has me 🤪 plus working on a personal project with my photography. So let’s just say this first “drop” will be my lessons learned.

💥Stay tuned next week!! I will partner with my sister of Pray and Love for a “grand opening” giveaway! Yes the Etsy shop sisters 🥰🥰. My sister Mary makes beautiful rosaries, rosary bracelets, prayer beads etc. We both love to create in our own way. Grateful and Blessed. 🙏🏻❤️
