Another great run session is in the books! We invited Wild Bill from the Blanchard Branch line and our HO modeler Chad to join the usual foursome so it made for 6 operators last night! Here are a few short raw unedited videos and some pictures.. Sorry I wanted to take more but it's so hard when you're enjoying the company you're with! Did manage to get a group pic! Bonus! Anyway, Happy Model Railroading!

I love being a designer and planner for Model railroads and I want to showcase a track plan that I have designed for a friend in AZ. I still have to simulate traffic and find the best paths for crossovers but it's down for the most part. Granted there will be changes once the pen hits the plywood but I feel I got what he's after. Articulated steams and long freight. Only one curve at 20" but mostly 30" and for N scale those articulated steams should looks so pretty rolling thru those curves at speed! Anyways thanks for looking and happy Model railroading!

I always felt that adding fascia to the layout always added the touch of completeness. Today that's what we worked on near Vancouver. Measured and cut to size and placed the peep holes for easy reach into the area to grab derailed trains. Also, we added a small retaining wall using some masonite strips. Turned out good and minimizes the look of clutter. Also went to Harrington Wa. Monday to play a round of golf which is next to the BNSF heading west to the Scenic Sub between Spokane and Wenatchee. Played well and enjoyed the trains! 2 of my favorite things in one package! Couldn't have ask for more except, I just wish I would caught a video! Anyways, Happy Model Railroading!

Edited video of our live run session on Sunday night. I ran my Re**er block and UP grain train. Doss ran a local and worked wishram to Pasco. Matt ran several BNSF grain trains on the BNSF line. Busy night and a grand time! Just missing our buddy Clint whos on vacation. Have a wonderful start to the summer and I am some announcements coming soon! So look forward to that. Again, Happy model railroading!

Climb aboard and see the new features on the our next update! Finally started finishing the landscaping of the BNSF side going into Wishram. I took aerial pictures of the area where the mainline curve comes out of the tunnel into Wishram. Even though this is a very condensed version I did the best I could to make it look close! Next I added the much needed grain loop Overpass to break up the scene more and add another interesting point of view! Enjoy the update and Happy Model Railroading!

We're about 85% completed with laying track and are mostly finished with Wishram Yard. Still have a couple turnouts for 2 dead ends inside the wye for MOW equipment and whatever else. Still need to grab a couple more turnouts to finish the industrial sidings around Vancouver then trackwork will be completed! So next week should complete the project then back to scenery shaping! Hope you're enjoying our progress and Happy model railroading!!

I'm sure many of you have been wondering when there will be an update and today is the day! We've been working hard on finishing the Multnomah Falls terrain and shaping more hillside that works along the backdrop. Matt and I started to brainstorm after that project was close to completion and put our focus on Vancouver WA. We worked out a plan and ripped up all the old mainline. I added the crossover tracks that lead Northbound up to Seattle coming off the westbound track much like the real counterpart. I tried to cram in as much as possible with the limited space I had and so far so good. The next focus was pulling up the Wishram area and making a small yard to work Vancouver and head south down the BNSF Oregon Trunk Division. This will also serve as a mainline drop point for traffic to head south. I will provide another update in the next day or two when I get all the trackwork down so please look forward to that! Once again we appreciate your patience as you continue to watch us grow the railroad! Happy model railroading!!

Had the privilege to visit my buddy John's MRL -Montana Rail Link today with my friend Steven Doss. Steven and I were out railfanning when John messaged me to come by and check some things out. Needless to say it was well worth the visit and never disappoints!
