The walk-through went really well - the broker representing the landlord literally exclaimed, "holy cow! I never thought it would look this good! How did you pull it off?" The landlord's father, in charge of the walk-through, couldn't believe how much better it looks in there than it ever has before and gave us huge kudos!

Then they changed the locks. 😯

Incredibly grateful for the love, support, and muscles! I'm humbled. We could not have gotten through the last eleven days without you and I don't have the words (weird, right?) to tell you all how much it meant to me that you had my back.

Especially Michael & Laurie, Trinity, Eden, Mickey, Mike, Adam, Joshua ❤️, Santo, Carla Jonavan & Rhianon

Uuuugh... So bitter sweet
July 6th, 2015, I walked into 17905 e Appleway to look at a clean out for some extra bucks..
We soon found out the owner was in arrears to the tune of 25k..Lived in an attached house and was a half gallon of cheap vodka straight out of the bottle, 2 pk of cheap smokes..on an oxygen machine (with the longest tube i have EVER seen) type of person...
Why I thought to help this lady... I still don't really know.. She was notveasy to deal with.. but was still a fellow human who needed it...
Long story short... We had less than 90 days to come up with the $$ .. We decided to clearance the whole store.. Live and dead mice.. a cat that literally fell asleep and expired.. Tens of THOUSANDS of pieces of merchandise were gone through, dosposed of and sold.. The community rallying around us was really something to be proud of.
We did it!
Then, by pure accident..GreenAcres Vendor Mall was born...
A premature baby, with issues lol.. I was a new mom again, lol..
Hours, days ... months of working every day..no pay for myself..but the store always made it..

Mid 2016
Genesis, who would l, in the future, unknowingly become "Dad" to my baby store, lol .. walked into GVM. Shortly after, we became pals.. Coffee and Snark made us friends.. Then GVM made us Family ♡

January 28th, 2023
We stood in 16814 e Sprague for the first time as new business partners.
Gen was worried we would have issues filling that much space...I was motivated maybe more than ever before!
We grew SO fast! SO much love poured into that space!
Then 2020 (barf)
But we did it!!! We made it!! And still kinda liked each other, lol
We continued to grow! Always with a decent wIt list to be part of the "fam"

The decision to move...was not ours... that is all I will say on here, lol..

February 1st, 2023
I totally cried as we walked out of our "baby" for the last time.. Genesis stayed strong...(per ush lol.. There's a reason why they call us "Mom & Dad" 🤣)
We weathered SO many storms..Faced SO many hills.
We made a whole family!
Our staff, vendors, customers, and us went through births, marriages, birthdays, graduations, divorces, deaths.. an actual tyrant...You name it.. WE were there for eachother ♡Always finding a way to try an uplift one another...Even if it was just a piece from our "Emergency Chocolate Jar" 😜

January 21st
The store closed its doors to the public.

We once again began the shoving of all that love onto another building! Not as partners this time, but as friends!
I get to be the full people whisper.. and Gen gets to be ALL data dweeb lol

Thank you to everyone of you who graced our store with good vibes! 🥰
