The annual "Game of Shrooms" happens this year on June 13, 2026. GOS is a artist-driven global scavenger hunt, in which artists create mushroomy pieces and hide them out in the world for anyone to find (and keep)! To encourage you all to contribute to the fun, I've posted a FREE mushroom stained glass pattern - click the link below to download it (you'll be taken to my Patreon page, but you don't need to support me to access the file). Of course, you're also welcome to download the patter even to make the piece for yourself. I've just released my latest downloadable pattern, "simple snail," for my Patreon supporters. At the "Chrysalis" (and higher) pledge levels, patrons have access to this pattern, and several years of past patterns that have not been available on Etsy or elsewhere. Many of these patterns are great for beginners!

I went the the NJ Rock show last week and was able to restock ammonite fossils for this fun pattern. I got to hand-pick each fossil (rather than buy a bulk "luck of the draw" lot), so they're all unique and beautiful! Take a look at the photos in the listing if you want to choose your own fossil (insider tip: #11 has some neat silver and gold metallic mineralization).

"Buckeye Butterfly" with a 16 inch wingspan is now available as a digital download pattern. It's a pretty advanced project, with a bit of copper foil overlay, but lots of fun. It comes with an info sheet with photos that show the overlay process. As with all of my patterns, it comes with permission to sell finished pieces as you like.

By popular demand, "Puffball" and "Ammonite" are finally available as digital downloads at http://neile.etsy.com! They're both large format 11" x 17" patterns. I'll continue releasing my larger patterns in digital form going forward. I'm happy to take suggestions for which patterns to prioritize... especially from my non-North American customers - I know shipping costs were pretty exorbitant for you all!
