Good morning and happy Wednesday! 🐫 Today brings us a rare mix of celestial activity above us! ✨If you enjoy looking up into the sky, this is the day to do so with a trifecta of events happening right over Maine. 🤩 This afternoon from 12:54 to 2:49 pm, the moon will be sliding in front of the sun, creating a slight dimming of daylight. Even though it is only a partial eclipse for us, covering 15 to 30 percent of the sun, special eclipse glasses are still needed for viewing. 🌒 Tonight, the Perseid Meteor Shower will be lighting up the August skies! 💫 You may see dozens of bright streaks throughout the night, some flashing quickly and others will leave long trails that linger. 🌟 Then as a special treat to observers of the night skies, several planets will also be forming a gentle arc across the sky in a planetary alignment. 🪐 Even though not all of these astronomical phenomena will be visible to us, it is still comforting to know that this is all taking place above us. ✨Wishing everyone a safe and happy day and clear night skies ahead. 🫶🌞🌒🪐

Good morning and a happy Sunday to all of you. ✨ After yesterday's much-needed downpour, the skies have cleared and the world feels fresh and clean as we begin a new week. 🌿 Out on Isle au Haut, a remote island with a year-round population of ninety-two and reachable only by ferry, the community still gathers at their own little church on the hill above Penobscot Bay. ⛪️ Built in 1857 watching over the quaint little village, it depends on visiting ministers who hold regular services in July and August. 🙏🏻 Through the years, this small church has remained a constant part of island life for worship and summer gatherings, and it is open for visitors from May to October for anyone wishing to experience a quiet taste of small-island living. 🌼 May the calm spirit of a Sunday morning and new week bring peace to your day and contentment to your soul. 🫶🌞🥵⛪️💛

It is in the stillness of the early morning light, the way the world seems to pause, and the way we may breathe a little deeper. 😮‍💨 Some people may find that feeling by worshipping in church. Others find it on a walk, in a memory, or simply with a cup of coffee while wishing friends a good morning before starting their day. ☕️The spirit of Sunday and the beginning of a new week is for everyone. After just a few months of renovations, things are moving even faster than we imagined, and we couldn't be more excited about what's ahead!

Seasonal Maine is now located at 275 Main Street, South Berwick, Maine, with a projected retail opening in early Spring 2027. In the meantime, our website is open for orders, and limited local pickup is already available.

We're also looking for talented Maine artisans and makers to help fill our shelves with unique products that celebrate everything people love about Maine. If you'd like to have your work considered, we'd love to hear from you!

Good morning everyone, and happy Tuesday! 🥰 What a refreshing start to the day here in Maine with cool temps, clear skies, and that gentle summer feeling that makes you breathe in a little deeper. 🌅 Black-eyed Susans are another flower that grows wild all along our state, bringing cheerfulness wherever you find them. 🌼 Their name goes back to an old British poem about a dark-eyed Susan bidding farewell to her sailor sweetheart ⚓. Symbolically, they have long represented encouragement and motivation, a little reminder to keep going, keep smiling, and keep sharing kindness wherever you can. 💛 So, as we step into this new day, may we be encouraged to enjoy every minute of it and be inspired to share our own happiness with everyone we meet. 🫶 🌞✨🌼💛

Calling All Maine Artisans

Seasonal Maine is looking for talented local artisans and makers who would like to have their products considered for our new retail shop in downtown South Berwick.

Our mission is simple:

To spread the love of Maine.

Seasonal Maine will offer a thoughtfully curated collection of Maine-made and Maine-themed products that celebrate the places, traditions, creativity, and character people love about our state.

We are not exclusively a “Made in Maine” store. Our collection includes products sourced from a variety of makers and suppliers, with local artisan work playing an important and valued role in the Seasonal Maine shopping experience.

*A Small Shop with a Carefully Curated Collection*

Seasonal Maine is a very small shop with a limited retail footprint in downtown South Berwick. We are just getting underway, and shelf space will be limited and carefully selected.

Because space is at a premium, we may not be able to accept every product or carry large quantities. Our goal is to build a balanced collection featuring quality products that complement the Seasonal Maine brand and offer customers something distinctive.

Our retail store is expected to open in Spring 2027. However, selected artisan products may be made available for sale through our website much sooner.

*Artisan Partnership Program*

Our proposed consignment arrangement includes:

- The artisan receives 60% of the retail selling price
- Seasonal Maine retains 40%
- The artisan retains ownership of the products until they sell
- Sales summaries and payments are provided monthly
- Seasonal Maine handles in-store merchandising, customer service, payment processing, and promotion
- Selected products may also be featured and sold through our online store

For online orders fulfilled by Seasonal Maine, customers will generally pay the applicable shipping charge. Shipping and fulfillment details will be discussed before a product is added online.

Good morning and a happy Monday to all! 😍 Sweet corn season is underway, so get it while you can! 🌽 Like everything else, the price has gone up a little this year, to around $12 a dozen in some places, but when you think about what it cost the farmer to grow it, it's a bargain and truly nothing beats the taste of native-grown corn! 😋 Also, it's always a good thing to support your local farmers! 👩‍🔧 Get out and treat yourself to a taste of summer with some farm fresh vegetables and the beautiful weather we are expecting today. 🌞 Life is great but short like this season, so enjoy every bit of it while it's here! 🫶🌞🌽🧈😎

It was built by the residents themselves who were determined to have their own place of worship. ⛪️ May your day be filled with smiles, laughter, kindness and peace! 🫶🌞⛪️
