It's almost August, which means just a few more booth days to go! Once the booth season is over, I will be re-adding fidgets to the website, but until then we decided to bring some Gel Squishy love to our online customers! For a limited time, we will have blind bags available for purchase online. While this deal will not be available in our booth, if you are local, you CAN order online and choose local pickup at checkout. (Just write Wednesday Market pickup in the notes section at checkout)

Each bag comes with 5 different gel squishies in random colors and sizes, with a guaranteed value of between $25 and $35 dollars. If you love squishies, you just can't lose!

Check out our new Sensory Science Kit!

We have had sensory bottle kits for awhile now, but I knew that we could make them more engaging, and what better way than to explain the science behind sensory bottles AND slime? Watch out, because your kiddos are about to be armed with the knowledge to explain WHY slime is so good for them (but also, why it's not so good for carpets). Prepare to start saying YES to slime requests!

Work on our Martian Gardening Set is coming along. The testing is taking longer than normal because I have to wait and record seedling growth, etc. Rest assured that when I have them all worked up, you will all be the first to know!

We are in full Market Season craziness, but here are some upcoming dates to keep in mind:

Check out our new products!

We are getting into the parts of summer where the kiddos all see school on the horizon and more often than they were a month ago, are either bored out of their minds, or anxious and cranky. It's almost like that spring fever feeling where they can't wait for summer to hit, and school has become exhausting for everyone. Sometimes, unlimited freedom can be become exhausting and the idea of school and it's structure is enticing, but at the same time kind of scary.

I find as a parent, that I have to try to think back on how I felt about things when I was a child. It helps me to connect with that miniature Eva, and remember her moods, fears, and the things that she was truly excited about. It is definitely something that I think about when I am in the booth and a kiddo gets REALLY excited about gel squishy fidgets. Today's Eva thinks "Save your money for something cooler!" Forty years ago Eva playing the claw machine in the mall to get tiny stuffed animals totally gets it. ;-)

So all of this is to say that I am finishing up a new Sensory Science Set that explains the science behind DIY Sensory Bottles and Slimes, and contains all the stuff to make your own, and a Martian Gardening Set. Ideally, I would love to have these listed next week, but Wednesday Markets, Mystery Scoop Videos, and Progress Days might have other ideas. Just know that I am working as fast as I can.

We have also added a few new Thunderhead Keychains and GIANTmicrobe keychains to the lineup (certainly another thing that the kiddos are excited to collect these days).

ALL FELT SETS have been RE-STOCKED! Our homeschooling community is looking ahead and putting in their bulk orders so I am trying to stay ahead of that surge as well. If you are waiting for something that is out of stock, please send me a message as it might just not have been added back to the website yet.

Things are heating up!

Hello all, just have a few items of note to go over for the next few weeks!

1. All felt materials have been re-stocked! It's hard to get time to sew during the summer but I have been fitting it in here and there and it is a good thing too because...

2. Homeschool orders are starting to come in. The order fill rate is maxed out right now at 5 days. I can't get them filled any quicker despite my best efforts. In mid July things will slow down for a few weeks until August, so if you have a big homeschool order to fill, now might be the best time.

3. I am going to my 30th reunion this weekend, so orders will not be filled on Saturday or Sunday, so that might add an extra day to your ship by estimate.

4. Tomorrow I am going to try to get some extra work done and orders filled at home, so Molly will be working the booth for me in the afternoon! Come out and say Hi if you are local, word on the street is, there has been a sugar squishy re-stock!

We are back from Oregon and after surviving the heat, Miss C is back at it and ready to rock the summer season. Several shipments were waiting for inventory including more of the Science Card Packs, Stickers and TONS of new GIANTmicrobe items! If you are local, Wednesday Market Pickup is an option if you want to avoid the booth craziness. (It is pretty hard to get in the booth when there is a non-stop crowd of kiddos there!) And of course, we ship year round!
