I’m finishing kits for Original Sewing & Quilt Expo Novi today. As much work as they are, they make me so happy! I’m excited to see which ones my students will pick next week 😊

The hardware room on the other hand does not bring me joy. I know what I will be tackling when I get back 😠

How is it that I have managed to hold onto a rotary cutter since before I was married (I’ve been married 19 years) but lose literally everything else that’s within 2 feet of me 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Does it feel like I’ve been away more than I’ve been home lately? Does it seem like I’ve showed this booth over and over again? I feel that too! Only two more events this year. I equally enjoy and loathe travel. I love meeting all of you, teaching classes, seeing new cities but… I miss my bed and my family and my schedule. Will I stop traveling? No, but I’m looking forward to a break soon 😊

Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me and in advance to everyone who stops by the booth this weekend and takes some classes with me here in Cincinnati!
