We are bringing relief, bubbles, and beverages. In that order.

Strange Makes will be at the Parker Farmers Market with:

🧴 Small-batch salves for hardworking hands, dry skin, cranky elbows, and feet that have made some choices.
🫧 Mega bubbles for kids, grownups, and anyone who deserves to experience the drama of one truly ridiculous bubble floating across the fairgrounds.
🍵 Herbal teas for cozy sipping, gentle wellness, and looking like a person who definitely has their life together.

Stop by our booth to shop, sniff, ask questions, and witness the kind of wholesome chaos only giant bubbles can provide.

Did you know Sioux Falls has a secret gearhead flex?

In 1908, 19-year-old inventor Thomas L. Fawick built the aluminum-bodied Fawick Flyer —widely credited as America’s first four-door automobile - and right here in Sioux Falls.

That means before “shotgun!” became a family argument, we were already helping people get into cars like civilized passengers.

And the passenger list? Not exactly boring.

Theodore Roosevelt rode in a Fawick Flyer during a Sioux Falls parade, because apparently this town has been casually iconic for over a century.

Around here, “made in Sioux Falls” has always meant a little practical, a little brilliant, and just strange enough to be memorable.

Here is an unfortunately true story:
In 2019, Sioux Falls gathered 339 brave souls to open fortune cookies at the exact same time.

Why? Because apparently, once humanity checked off fire, wheels, and indoor plumbing, the next logical frontier was mass prophecy delivery through dessert.

Some towns chase fame.
Some build monuments.
Some invest in infrastructure.

Sioux Falls breaks cookies and briefly confuses it with progress.

And honestly? Fair.

In a world held together by coffee, group texts, and people saying “quick question” before ruining your afternoon, maybe a synchronized fortune cookie event is the perfect symbol of where we are as a civilization.
