With so many comments regarding my use of this "white elephant" property, I would really love to hear what business ideas people have for the mansion to make it sustainable if I were not here, doing what I'm doing because it is very likely that my business model cannot produce the income for maintaining the mansion which is why I've fought for years to make it sustainable and economically viable.

What other businesses might be able to utilize this historic property?

This picture was recently shared with me from a follower who snapped it a few years before the auction when it was abandoned for over 5 years.

So the time has come to close our doors at Dickinson & Wait Craft Gallery. . . our last day open to the public will be Tuesday, May 20th at 5:00. It has been a pleasure to spend these many years in downtown Shepherdstown. We will miss being in the front row!
