She has tried many different mediums, including water colors, oils, chalk, pencil and mixed media. It wasn't until she delved into pen and ink that she became truly inspired. She began to experiment with different pen styles, inks and blending, which led her to create original pieces with many layers, textures and incredible detailing. ith an initial concept, adding layers of colors and shades, and then adding an extreme anount of detailing. Her pieces evolve from start to finish, and reflect her many interests and moods. Jennifer grew up in Eastern Washington in Spokane. She completed her nursing degree and spent a few years moving around the country as a travel nurse, from the west coast to the east coast, north and south. She took in the many different climates and people of America, allowing for a varied persepctive on people, animals and landscapes. She moved to Seattle permantly and from the rigors of nursing was borne a need to relax and unwind. That is when she started pursuing her art on a regular basis. She currently resides in West Seattle with her husband and two daughters. There are not many days that go by without her pens hittig the paper, drawing inspiration from her many observations with her own unique persepctive.
