Can you sew 30 face masks today? We can give you a kit with fabric, elastic, and wire, and provide the instructions, dropped at your doorstep. If you have a sewing machine thread, and the time, you can help keep our employees and our vulnerable clients safe.
DESC (The Downtown emergency Service Center) serves over 3500 people every day who have experienced or are experiencing chronic homelessness. They are almost all in the high risk category with this virus, and need lots of support to get through each day.
