Come with us to see our bookmarks in Barnes & Noble. 🌿
Back in 2020, Page Petal was just an idea in a guest bedroom. We sold directly to customers through social media and our website, packing orders by hand and hoping people would connect with something we made with love. Back then, seeing our bookmarks in Barnes & Noble felt almost impossible — one of those “maybe someday” kind of dreams!
And six years later, here we are. 🥲
But I have to say, the dream evolved into something even sweeter. Not only do we get to work with Barnes & Noble, we also get to partner with the most INCREDIBLE independent bookstores all across America. 📚🫶🏻 Booksellers who care deeply about what they place into someone’s hands. Places that still believe gifting can feel meaningful and personal.
What I’ve learned is this: sometimes the dream you start with is only the doorway to something bigger than you could’ve imagined.
And none of this was built alone. It has been a team effort from the very beginning. A group of incredible women looked at this tiny handmade business and said, “Yes. I believe in this. I’ll build it with you.” I carry that with me every single day. 💛
Most days are a blur of spreadsheets, inventory counts, and never-ending to-do lists. Oh, and let’s add in being a mother to two sweet girls. But this little day trip felt magical. Big main character energy.
At the heart of it all, our mission has stayed the same: to create something handmade that helps people say, “I thought of you.”
And I think that will always be worth chasing. ❤️ - Gloria
