If you’re planning on visiting the new Goodwill Manasota Bargain Barn, here are some of my best tips! The “bins” are definitely a unique experience, and it’s my favorite way to thrift, but it can be overwhelming for newbies. I’ll never forget my first visit to the bins, so I always try to help the newcomers.

My first thrift flip from something I found at the newest Goodwill bins location! I am such a sucker for faux plants, but this one needed a major upgrade. Nothing a little spray paint can’t fix. 🙌🏻

A table for $5?! Done! I needed one for own of my artificial plants and have been having the hardest time finding something small for a decent price. I’d like to find one with a little more character, but this one works for now!

This thrift flip is a great example of how we can love a piece for its shape, but not necessarily the color or style. After a few coats of paint this outdated purple pitcher now looks like a classic piece of home decor.

We have a fun saying in our family whenever something happens that scares the absolute crap out of you; “Gotta do something everyday that makes me feel alive.” This most definitely fit that motto as my heart almost jumped right out of my chest! I REALLY need to organize my work area better and get rid of some of my junk. 😂
