When one of the youngest organists we met at the AGO show wanted to play, there was just one problem—he couldn’t reach the pedals.

César Franck composed Fantaisie in
A Major specifically for the legendary Cavaillé-Coll organ.

More than 130 years later, at the AGO National Convention in St. Louis, Sofia Korsakova performed it using the sample set from the historic Caen Cavaillé-Coll in Hauptwerk, allowing us to hear it on the same style of French organ for which Franck composed.

That’s what’s so amazing about Hauptwerk. It’s like stepping back in time and experiencing the music the way the great composers intended.

Official Hauptwerk Artist Brody Bett delivers a breathtaking performance of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor (BWV 565), showcasing not only his extraordinary talent, but also the incredible realism that Hauptwerk makes possible.

Recorded live during the Hauptwerk Artist Showcase at the AGO Convention in collaboration with Content Organs, this performance features the magnificent Müller organ of St. Bavo Church in Haarlem, Netherlands.

We couldn’t be prouder to have Brody representing Hauptwerk. His extraordinary talent and dedication continue to inspire organists around the world.

Having played the world’s largest fully playable pipe organ—the 28,750-pipe Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia—Brody knows its legendary string stops firsthand.
