This weekend I was supposed to do my first sowing of the year, w**d, water, plant, and build a bunny fence but instead I’m in bed resting after whacking my face on my surfboard. I always feel such a sense of urgency when it comes to getting my farm work done on time, but this last year has really taught me to let go of that. Just doing my best and that’s enough. There will be plenty of flowers, whether they come a little sooner or later.

Sweet Peas! Planted my first succession this month, and I’ll plant another in January, maybe one more after that. I do love sweet peas but it’s a lot of work keeping up with harvesting and deadheading them so smaller successions tend to work better for me. I have strict harvest stage requirements in order to give customers the longest vase life. This is true of all of my flowers. Through my time at CASFS, working at Blue House farm, and now going into my fourth year of my own operation I have become very well acquainted with the nuances of each flower’s harvest stage.

I’ve been busy planning the details of my 2021 subscription offerings and I’m so excited to share them with you all! For the first time I will have flowers early enough in the season to offer a spring subscription! These bouquets will be filled with most exquisite spring flowers - foxglove, poppies, tulips, ranunculus, and more
Spring Flower Subscription
- available now on my website shop www.wildmoonflowers.com/shop
- weekly bouquets for 4 or 8 weeks
- delivery and pickup options
- starts mid March (exact dates TBD depending on the weather this winter)
- summer subscription dates and sign ups will be announced in early 2021
- gift certificates are still available and can be applied to either spring or summer subscriptions

Alrighty friends. I would LOVE to do it up big for Mother’s Day, sending lots of joy to all the mamas. I’m also trying to keep my business afloat since most of my sales outlets this season have been cancelled. Here is what I will be offering:

Mixed Bouquets
$30 + tax for pick-up (Westside and Eastside locations)
$35 + tax for delivery within Santa Cruz

Vase Arrangements
$70 + tax for pick-up (Westside and Eastside locations)
$75 + tax for delivery within Santa Cruz

To order, please FB message or email ([email protected]) me the following info:
- Date of delivery/pick-up: options are Saturday (5/9) and Sunday (5/10)
- Mixed bouquet or arrangement
- For Pick-up: W/S or E/S location
- For delivery only:

Any special instructions for delivery (gate code, mean dog, etc.)

A word about safety: I will be wearing masks and gloves when handling all flowers and during deliveries. Deliveries will be contact-less (good old fashioned ding d**g ditch style). Pick-ups will also be contact-less, the bouquets will be sitting outside of my house on the Eastside and my parents' house on the Westside.

Lastly, please share the word with your friends! I am taking pre-orders now through Wednesday, May 6th.
