A mistake is not an invitation to beat yourself up for an entire day. Mistakes are perfectly human and a part of life.

Next time you fall short on something, take a moment to give yourself a work of encouragement and remind yourself that as long as you’re human you are allowed to make mistakes.

Just like the start of your day requires momentum and planning—the end of your day also requires the same level of care and intentionality.

An end of the day Reset Routine can help ease your transition from work to rest, and allow you to get more out of your day.

Here’s step-by-step framework for creating a Reset Routine you’ll love.

Step 1: Reflect 🤔

Make time to review your day.
Awareness is the key to change, take a moment each day to review your highs and lows. What went right? What could have gone better?

Step 2: Celebrate your wins. 🥇

No matter how big or how small, get into the habit of celebrating your wins. This will help you cultivate the momentum needed to move forward on your most important projects.

Step 3: Make space for gratitude. 🧘🏿‍♂️ Cultivate a perspective of gratitude. Successful people are grateful people. Make time to celebrate all that you have while working on all that you want.

Step 4: Set out actionable tasks for the next day. 🎯

After you’ve had a chance to analyze and assess your day’s progress, set out an aim and target for the next day.

⠀⠀
A great place to start is to consider how you spend the first and last 90 minutes of your day. What activities do you engage in and how do they contribute to the overall tone of your day?
