The only reason we got into making planners is because we realized all the planners on the market are trash.
Literal landfill-bound trash.
Spiral, book, cloth, leather, laminate, or otherwise bedazzle-bound planners are “mixed materials waste” and will be stuck in landfills for the rest of time.

Nothing composts or “goes back to the earth” once it’s in a landfill.

If you’re a maker of things - don’t make trash.

Not only should student planners be free of distracting elements -
Sections for goals/dreams, really?
Fruity fonts?
Zany graphics?
Fun facts?
All these little bells and whistles have their place - but in a planner that is, in theory, supposed to help with planning and organization - not so much.

So, not only should Student Planners be distraction free - they should also not be garbage.
Spiral bound planners go to landfill.
Nothing composts in landfills because they are permanent toxic tombs.
All products and packaging should be designed NOT to end up there.

Keep paper in the recycling stream.
Don’t feed landfills.
Waste is a design flaw.
