I had to go to the store and buy stuff. And MRS Bunkermeister was kind enough to contribute some good stuff to the stuff also.

Spray paint, brush paint, and some more stuff. I like to have a deep supply of paints, knife blades, tools, plastic sheets and shapes. It makes conversions, repairs, and modifications much easier.

For every tank in your wargame collection, you should have one truck. Supplies, fuel, ammo all that stuff takes up room. And that does not even count medical, and replacements and repair technicians.

I don't have that many trucks, but I do try and have a reasonable supply of them. And just like the tanks they gotta get painted.

How many trucks to do you have?

My on going painting project continues. Probably 3 or 4 hundred vehicles in the line up for my Cold War Soviet Army project this year. Every year I select a project for acquisition, and one for upgrading, and one for organizing. This year organizing got 1898 War of the Worlds, they acquisition last year. Acquisition for this year has been 60mm figures and vehicles, so far, I have purchased none! And upgrading for several years in a row was my Cold War US Army M47 tanks, took about 3 years and while almost finished, it is on pause.

How do you organize your work and expenditures? Tell us in the comments.

Work continues on the Cold War Soviet Red Army. Here is a rather mundane tank and an unusual rocket launcher.

Have you ever heard of this rocket launcher before?

I got these paints from Amazon. They are very thick paints similar to poster paints.
There are lots of colors and I like to use these for terrain, stuff that does not require thin paints with fine detail.

My collection is directed toward not just collecting, and set ups, in theory, for miniature wargames and role playing games.

So what good is a sphinx?

This article explores several options.

Lot of good stuff can be found in the toy isle at your local store, but also check out the reptile and fish section too. There are many good, inexpensive terrain items to be found in those places.

This sphinx is a reptile toy for lizards to lay down on and rest from whatever lizards do all day.

There are many sphinx in Egypt not just the one at Giza, and some are pretty large. So I got this for more general use. James Bond was in Egypt and of course WWII had some Egyptian activity too.

What do you think?

Artitec makes high quality kits in HO 1/87 scale for advanced model builders.
The Churchill MK VII had very heavy frontal armor of six inches. Over 60 were used in the first few months of the Normandy by the British forces, mostly as command vehicles and as replacement tanks. General usage followed soon afterwards as production increased.

These were used as the basis for the Crocodile flamethrower tank, not included in this kit.
