This one-of-a-kind trio brings a grounding, organic presence to any space. It features two natural beach stones, each intricately wrapped using the traditional Japanese "Cho-Musubi" (butterfly) knot—a beautiful symbol of connection and transformation.

The stones are paired with a single piece of frosty sea glass from my signature childhood koi pond collection, all resting in a beautifully grained, sustainably sourced olive wood bowl.

A century of history meets the timeless textures of the Pacific coast.

I’m so excited to share a first look at the newest piece for my Etsy Shop. The central metal rod is a beautiful piece of architectural history—a drilled-and-tapped square doorknob spindle from a salvage shop, manufactured between 1880 and 1930.

I’ve woven it onto a naturally striped Mexican Sunburst beach stone using distressed brown leather cord, utilizing those historic adjustment holes to structurally lock the composition together.

This stone is fully complete and is currently waiting in the studio while I hand-sculpt its bespoke paper clay vessel to cradle its unique silhouette. Stay tuned to see the finished Nestled Set soon! 🤎

By inverting the vessel and Centering Stone to release and replace the stone, you protect the leather cord from friction against the rim of the vessel. It's a simple, intentional gesture that preserves the craftsmanship and invites a moment of quiet focus.

The beauty of a "hush."

Nestled Set #4 is a study in quiet symmetry and the Japandi aesthetic—where minimalist design meets organic texture.

I personally hand-sculpt each bespoke vessel from a paper clay I create using recycled mail and egg cartons. For this specific piece, I integrated recycled brown grocery bags into the clay to mirror the earthy tones of the landscape. To ensure the stone rests with intentional balance, I hand-formed a dedicated ridge into the base of the vessel.

The stone itself is a natural Mexican beach stone, distinguished by a striking natural dark circle—a focal point for quiet contemplation. It is hand-wrapped with brown distressed leather cord, chosen for its matte, weathered warmth.

A labor of time, touch, and reclaimed materials.

There is something deeply grounding about the weight of a stone in your palm.

My latest "Centering Stones" addition is this unique Duo set. It features two stones—one tan and one dark gray—each nestled in its own sustainable olive wood bowl.

The highlight of this set is the "Cho-Musubi" knot. In Japanese tradition, "Musubu" means "to tie," representing the beautiful connections we make in our lives. I’ve used a mix of black and mahogany brown leather to create these butterfly-inspired wraps, symbolizing transformation and growth.

I’ve finished each piece with mineral oil to bring out the rich, natural grain of the wood and the depth of the stone. I even include a small vial of oil with your order so you can keep them looking vibrant for years to come.

Hand-signed "LS" on the underside, these are truly one-of-a-kind pieces for your coffee table or meditation space.

It’s amazing to look back and see how the "Duo" series has evolved. I’m so happy to introduce Duo With Live-Edge Olive Wood Bowl #73 to the shop!

After 4 years and over 500 orders shipped from my Etsy shop, I still find so much peace in the process of matching the right stones to the right wrap.
