Happy Quiet Chapter Sunday! 🌙📖

Today was such an awesome day at Twists & Tales with our 80s Book Lotería and now I’m more than ready to slow things down, curl up, and get back to my book. I’m officially in the last chapters of El Espía del Inca by Rafael Dumett!! 😱 I can’t believe I’m almost there! And of course… my loyal bookmark has been with me through ALL of it. 🥹📚🦜
About to get a few quiet chapters before the night ends. 💛

💙Meet Our Very Special Bookshop Helper!

Today, my son Joaquin came to help at the bookstore… and he brought some very special books with him! 🥹📚💙 We are so excited to now have these beautiful books available at Twists & Tales. They are stories about inclusion, understanding, friendship, disabilities and celebrating what makes each of us unique. 🌈
And honestly having Joaquin here to help us welcome these books to our shelves made today feel extra special. 💙
Books have such an incredible way of helping children understand the world around them and sometimes of simply reminding a child…

You belong.
You matter.
You are seen. 🫶🏼📖

We want our children’s section to be a place where every kiddo can find a story that makes them feel represented, understood, and included.
So today, Joaquin wasn’t just our little bookshop helper… He was helping us make our shelves a little more inclusive one book at a time. 💙📚
