Science shows that people who shop small are happier people. 😉

But for real though, I’ve always been a huge fan and supporter of shopping small but especially now that I have my own small business. Now I truly understand how each and every like, comment, visit to the trailer, and purchase means. 💫

I know it’s sometimes easier to hop online and click to shop but I assure you the big guys don’t get half as excited as I do when I get to see you at the trailer and we get to geek out about books together. 🤗📚 Fun fact: my kids LOVE to hear about how it went on Market Days and ask who all came to visit me and who all bought specific books or merch they thought was cool. ☺️

I knew I started a business but what I didn’t know was how many friends I would make in the process.

Y’all are truly the best. 💕

I’m behind on posting this because I’m still getting used to having all my very active kids at home. They keep asking me “what are we doing today” and I keep telling them “enjoying our house”. Anyone else? 🙃

If you saw my last post, you know I’m all set up at my Summer Pop-Up Spot, ! Elysia Collective is a boutique with 30+ small, female owned businesses all in one spot. There’s seriously so much cute stuff to see. My personal favorite is (some of my rodeo outfits were from her!).

This month One More Chapter will be settled into a Residency at Elysia Collective!
I’ll be hosting “A Novel Night Out” for you to come browse new One More Chapter merch and check out all the other cute makers that are in the store.

The wheels are taking a summer break and the bookstore is moving indoors!

For the summer season, we’re so excited to announce that One More Chapter will be settling into a residency at Elysia Collective.

Same cute treasures, different backdrop, and best of all, a cool escape from the heat!

Find us there all summer long starting June 2nd! Hours and events to be announced 💕

IS EVERYONE READY FOR MAY-CEMBER?! Make sure you stretch. Our schedule is jam packed with Graduation parties, End of the Year performances, “See You Later”sendoffs for sweet friends who are moving, and more. Needless to say, the countdown to summer is ON at my house. We *all* cannot wait for the slow summer days.

This was my first year participating in the San Antonio Book Festival!

I literally only took one picture of the entire day. I set up my camera to do some content but had my first customer and then it never stopped! A sweet customer-friend made this reel and shared it with me so that I could share here!

Thank you SO MUCH to *each* and *every* single person that waited in line and chose to support my bookstore. A friend asked me how it went and as a procrastinator, I actually felt super prepared. Then as the day went on- I realized I could’ve done even more to prepare! You all almost completely cleared out the trailer. That’s definitely a good “problem” to have!

It was such a fun experience and it was so fun to celebrate my One Year Anniversary with the Book People at the Book Festival! I can’t wait for next year- Save the Date, April 10th, 2027!!
