I've been away from social media for the last several months to care for my toddler and other obligations. But I need to speak out against what is happening in my community here in Minnesota.
People are terrified to leave their homes. Citizens and legal immigrants are being harassed and detained because they aren't white or have an accent. Children are being traumatized from schools and bus routes being targeted. And most recently, school staff had to es**rt elementary children to their mother in a detention center who was wrongly detained. She has legal status and a judge-issued court order to not be deported but was abducted anyway. This is unacceptable. We need to stand up to this domestic terrorism and support one another however we can. We won't lie down to let our rights be trampled and our community harmed. Let's stand strong together.
