Sooo excited!!

I just picked up a whole collection of letterpress type and a proofing press for the shop! We’re building the perfect little beginner-friendly printmaking lab right here in downtown Saint Paul.

Our new address is 385 Broadway St. Unit 105. Come say hi.

Something new at Owl’s Eye!

Our new six-head, four-station screenprinting press is officially in the shop as of last night, and we’ll be getting it all set up tonight so it’s ready to go!

It was fully refurbished by a screenprinting specialist in Maple Plain, and we’re so excited to put it to work.

We’ll now be offering walk-in screenprinting during our weekend shop hours:

Saturday + Sunday
10 AM–3 PM

Bring your own shirt, tote, or other printable item, or purchase a blank shirt here. Then choose one of our six Owl’s Eye designs to print yourself!

Members will also be able to reserve time on the press for their own projects.

I’m so honored to see Owl’s Eye Art Collective included in an article announcing 21 new businesses in downtown Saint Paul!

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the growth happening downtown and proud to build something here in Lowertown. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped make this possible!

New business ventures in downtown St. Paul include the Stella apartments, the Roami apartment-hotel suites, three new or expanded cafes and multiple event spaces.

WE WANT MORE ARTISTS IN THIS SPACE.

One of my favorite parts of Owl’s Eye is looking around and realizing how many different people made the things on these walls and shelves.

This was never supposed to be just my art shop.

I want Owl’s Eye to be a place where local artists can sell their work, try something new, meet other makers, teach what they know, and feel like they’re part of something.

And now that we’re in our new space in Lowertown, we have room for more.

If you make prints, ceramics, jewelry, paintings, zines, fiber art, weird little handmade things, gifts — or something I haven’t thought of yet — I want to hear from you.

If cost is a barrier, please still reach out. I’m always willing to talk about flexible arrangements, trade, or another way to make it work.

We’ve been in our new Owl’s Eye space for one month, and so much has already come to life.

We’ve opened our coworking space, hosted classes, events, and workshops, welcomed new members, and started filling the shop with local art.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re continuing to build out our Printmaking Lab, expand classes, bring in teaching artists, and create more ways to work, make, and connect.

Membership is at the heart of it all—offering access to the space, tools, community, and opportunities to sell work or teach.
