This year, Maynard’s in Excelsior wanted to truly amp up their holiday set — and we were all in. We created something that brings all the gushy Christmas feels, but with a sophisticated, light, and airy touch inspired by their beautiful lakeside setting.

We added custom birch swags with an organic, Minnesota-woods charm, layers of warm lights so everything absolutely sparkles, and (of course) plenty of poinsettias — their timeless holiday signature. It’s like walking straight into a Christmas tree… and honestly, that’s a good thing up here. ❄️🎄

If you’re out and about, make a stop at Maynard’s. Not just for the décor, but for the incredible food, beverages, and that cozy winter escape vibe. A perfect little getaway on a chilly Minnesota day. ❤️✨

So grateful for my team. They’ve given their all this season — every last bit of energy, creativity, and heart. Even when they were running low, even when their bodies were tired, they kept showing up and creating beautiful things.

They are my heart and soul, and truly… none of this would happen without them. On the days when I’m unsure how everything will come together, when I’m driving and quietly praying for creativity, clarity, and a little miracle — they are the miracle. They’ve been that miracle each and every day.
I’m just so thankful for this team and everything they pour into our work. ❤️✨

We went all-in on the holiday magic at Maynard’s this year — keeping it classic and timeless with rich reds, crisp whites, and lots (and we mean lots) of lights. The restaurant’s beautiful woodwork and cozy tones make the perfect backdrop for an old-school Christmas glow.
Stop by Maynard’s in Rogers for a bite, a drink, or pulltabs. (MN peeps, you know there have to be pulltabs.)❤️🎅

This is a seasonal, part-time, flexible role with hours ramping up closer to full-time during the holiday season (Nov–Dec). There is an opportunity to be hired on after the holidays if it’s a great fit.

Before we move on, we had to share a few stills from our time ✨

There was something truly magical about reimagining this kid’s wonderland. Choo Choo Bob’s has always been such an important part of the community, and to be part of this chapter of its story was an honor.

The space already had such great bones and incredible one-of-a-kind custom pieces, which made weaving them into the new set design a joy. Thank you to Choo Choo Bob’s and for inviting us to be part of the magic. 🚂💫

This one is always a big labor of love for us. There is honestly something so magical about Bruce the Caribou that stops people in their tracks. (Why Bruce? I honestly don’t recall, but it stuck, and here we are.)

Every year we hope he gets to make an appearance, and this year was one of the years. There’s not much more to say other than I thoroughly enjoy him, and I love seeing people stop to admire him all the time.
