While we are incredibly sad that we will no longer be selling Chesapeake Sourdough here at Buehler's Marketplace, we are extremely grateful for the past year! We have absolutely loved sharing this journey with Nicole and her family and wish her nothing but the best for their next chapter in life! Family first is so important to all of us! Thank you all!! 🩷

Bittersweet Update

My heart is filled with so much gratitude and peace when I share this, but believe me that it was not an easy decision!

I will no longer be selling my sourdough products in Buehler’s Marketplace. (If you’re sad to hear this- I know, we are too!) This past year, Maria has given me the most wonderful partnership, allowing me to sell my baked goods in her store. It has been an honor, a privilege, and I will always look back on it with such pride.

However, I have felt the nudge to be more present at home with my family. I will begin our “official” homeschool journey with my daughter in Kindergarten this year, and I have felt stretched too thin to give her my best. The decision was difficult because of how deeply I have enjoyed selling in Buehler’s, but I feel at peace knowing I will be more available to put my family first.

I want to first say thank you to Maria for being the perfect woman to partner with, always helpful, organized, and accommodating! Both of her parents were so warm and welcoming, and I couldn’t walk into the store without feeling at home immediately! Buehler’s Marketplace is truly such a special place, and I look forward to visiting as a customer!

Next, thank you to EVERY single customer who has come into Buehler’s over the past year to support me. I will never stop saying- a small business cannot thrive without the support of its community, and you all have shown up to make my business thrive! Your purchases have supported my family through so much, and for that I thank you.

Lastly, this is not the end of my bakery! I will be taking some time off to adjust to the new school year and reevaluate what my next chapter looks like. Please stay tuned for what’s next- my bread stand, porch pickup orders, and markets may still be in my future! However, I’ll be operating on a more limited and flexible basis.
