If you don’t know Hajime Sorayama yet, you’re kinda missing out. For me personally, one of my favorite artists. I own a few pieces if his artwork and multiple books and figures.
This dude’s been a heavy influence in art, fashion, anime, and design for decades. He’s the one who made chrome look sexy. Those shiny robot women? That’s all him. His style inspired Dior, BAPE, KAWS, Be@rBrick and a ton of futuristic design before the rest of the world caught on.
It’s wild how deep his reach goes. From Pl***oy bunnies to Star Wars and Disney vibes to collaborations with brands that defined culture. He’s been doing this since before a lot of us were even born.
Anyway, slide two is a piece I’m letting go, available . It’s a hand-signed, limited edition print. Only 10 exist and this one’s number 2. Rare doesn’t even cover it, it’s niche as hell. Naked mermaids?? I know my interests aren’t universal but I do know theyre shared, and I’m sure theres someone looking for a hand signed piece like this for their wall.
I almost kept it for the archive. But I’d rather it go to someone who really gets it.
