Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association The Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association (PICYA) is made up of over 100 yacht and boat clubs in Northern California.

We are one of the largest such associations in the world and our history dates back to 1896. We were formed to foster communication and cooperation among boaters and their club members. Today we promote recreational boating, youth sailing and many other civic activities.

The PICYA Board of Directors sends heartfelt wishes and prayers to the friends & family who were onboard the Volare, our Member Club; Stockton Yacht Club and the Delta Community.

We also give many, many thanks to those fellow boaters/fishermen and all the First Responders who risked their own safety to rush to the aid of the distressed vessel and passengers.

This tragedy off the waters of Alcatraz has hit our fellow Bay & Delta yachtsmen extremely hard and now is the time for us to come together and offer any support we can.
