What an honor it was to speak at CalABA this year. 💛 Getting to share ideas, learn from so many passionate professionals, and talk about what really matters in our field always fills my cup.

At Lively, our mission has always been about making learning meaningful, natural, and empowering for our clients. My biggest hope is that the ideas from this talk carry into real sessions, helping our clients build communication, advocate for themselves, and have a stronger voice in their own lives.

Because when we focus on teaching self-advocacy and honoring autonomy, we’re not just teaching skills, we’re helping create lasting impact.

So grateful to everyone who showed up, engaged, and continues pushing our field forward.

Don’t get me wrong we still spend a lot of money on materials and take a bit of a profit loss but its worth it for not only the client’s sake but the RBT to feel successful in session as well! For some of you looking to do this, you do want to analyze what’s worth buying and what’s worth trying to get donated because the donation route does take a lot time as well.
