Hearth and Hallow Collective

Hearth and Hallow Collective Hearth & Hallow began as a seasonal market celebrating makers, magick, and community.

Now it's evolving into a collective of gatherings, rituals, and connection beyond the marketplace.

Something is stirring for Shadows & Sage… 🌙

As the Collective continues to grow, we are currently exploring a potential partnership with a local retreat space to bring an entirely new layer to this year’s Night Market experience.

At the heart of Hearth & Hallow has always been community and supporting local businesses, creators, and spaces — so this feels like a beautiful opportunity for everyone involved. New ideas. New experiences. Things that haven’t been done before.
And don’t worry… the woodsy pathways, lantern glow, cozy magic, and enchanting atmosphere everyone loved from Under the Veil will still be there. If anything… we’re expanding upon it. ✨

While we patiently await government approvals 🙄 we would love to hear from you:
What were your favorite parts of our previous markets? What would you love to see brought into Shadows & Sage this year?
Tell us below. 🖤

The more the Collective grows, the more I find myself dreaming about the spaces between the big events.
The slower moments. The smaller gatherings. The chance to simply exist in community together. ✨
So I want to ask…

Are there members of our community who would love to help hold space for smaller Hearth & Hallow gatherings throughout the year?
Things like:
🌙 Moon gatherings
🧵 Craft nights
📚 Book circles
🍄 Forage walks
🫖 Tea & tarot evenings
🎲 Cozy game nights
🔥 Bonfires & storytelling
🌿 Workshops & skill sharing
🧺 Potlucks & seasonal celebrations

These could be hosted at homes, studios, farms, workshops, gardens, community buildings, and more.
If you’d be interested in hosting, I've put together a form where you can share:
✨ General location
✨ How many people your space can hold
✨ What your space offers
✨ Types of gatherings you’d enjoy hosting
✨ Accessibility/parking details
✨ Anything else you’d want us to know

And if you already host gatherings, workshops, circles, classes, or community events — please let us know that too! We’d love to help share and uplift the beautiful things already happening within our community. 🖤
This is all very organic right now.
Very much a “let’s see what wants to bloom together” kind of thing. 🌿

Lately, especially today on Mother’s Day, I’ve been reflecting a lot about all the different threads that make up this day.
How motherhood looks different for everyone.

How this day can hold joy, grief, exhaustion, gratitude, longing, celebration, loneliness, healing, remembrance, love… sometimes all at once.
And it’s had me thinking deeply about “the village.”
The kind of community humans were never meant to live without.

The aunties. The elders. The helping hands.
The people who show up with soup, hold babies, teach crafts, sit beside you, offer wisdom, lend support, or simply make life feel a little less heavy.

So now I’m curious…
✨ What does “the village” look like to you?
✨ What kinds of community support do you crave most?
✨ What do you wish existed more for parents, families, individuals, elders, creatives, or caregivers?
✨ What kinds of gatherings, support, or connection would feel meaningful to you?

No right or wrong answers here.
I’m simply planting seeds and listening. 🌿

Okay, genuine question…
Who would actually be interested in a whimsical little Fairy Summer Solstice Party in the woods? ✨🌿
My birthday is June 20th, I’ll be turning 35, and honestly… I kind of want to celebrate surrounded by community, nature, laughter, lanterns, flowers, and a little bit of magic.
I’m envisioning:
🧺 Potluck-style food
🧚 Fairy/whimsical attire encouraged
🌿 Crafts + creating together
🔥 Music, storytelling, maybe a fire if allowed
✨ Barefoot woodland energy
🌙 A soft, cozy, midsummer gathering under the trees
Nothing huge or fancy. Just intentional, magical, community-centered joy.
Would anyone actually come to something like this? 👀

Megan 🖤
