My dad’s favorite thing to call me was always “Little Roberto”.
I was 15 when I started practicing on my sisters hair and then from there started cutting my cousins hair…. Went to barber school….the rest is history. But it reminded him so much of himself when he first came to the states and how hard he worked for everything he had, Struggled and got right back up ❤️
It’s a bittersweet moment leaving 420 E. State st. Knowing my dad won’t be there in person to celebrate our new location, but I know he will be there watching.

🚨 As of JUNE 1st, 2026 we will be relocating!!
That’s right, 420 E.State st. will no longer be Exquisites home. It was an awesome and incredible 3 years here but it’s time. Coming along with the new space we will still have our amazing barbers and some new additions to the shop!!I can’t wait for you all to see the new space! Thank you all for your continued support, our clients have been the best and I appreciate every single one of you! Stay tuned for any new updates 🚨

My dad always said if you’re going to be anything at all in life, always be strong, keep going and never give up until your last breath, give it all you got… I won’t get to call you when I’m feeling hopeless or having “a bad day” anymore, but I’ll never forget how many times you’ve told me that and how much you lifted my spirits on those days. I am the women and person I am today because of you pops. I question a lot right now and my heart hurts…you had so much more and deserved so much more. The hardest worker I know and most stubborn man I know but he loved so deeply, especially his kids. Rest easy pops, I love you so so much 💔 To my clients, I was going to return back to the shop this week but unfortunately we lost a battle. I will keep you all posted on when I will return, thank you for your love and support through these times.
